DRY WHOLE MILK - NATIONAL                                        
                                                                 
National dry whole milk prices are mixed. A few f.o.b. spot 
sales pulled the bottom of the range slightly up, but the top 
remains steady. Sales outside contracts are light. At this 
point, the market undertone is unsettled. Production is 
irregular, based on contractual requirements. Some processors 
are switching from dry whole milk production to dry skim milk. 
Inventories vary from plant to plant. This week, a cooperative 
export assistance program accepted requests for 308,647 pounds 
of dry whole milk.
