DRY WHOLE MILK - NATIONAL                                        
                                                                 

Prices for dry whole milk are mixed on a weak market. Spot sales 
have been slow throughout the week. Demand is light. There are 
sufficient volumes of condensed milk for manufacturing. However, 
dry whole milk processing has been sporadic as plants 
concentrate on clearing intakes into NDM. Inventories vary from 
plant to plant. This week, a cooperative export assistance 
program accepted requests for 1.102 million pounds of dry whole 
milk.
