Demand from the bakery sector is steadily waning. Spot sales in the f.o.b. market have been slow throughout the week. Many buyers/end users are putting pressure on the market by holding purchases until prices come down enough. Production is active as moderate to heavy condensed skim volumes continue clearing into dryers. As a result, inventories are steady to building. High heat nonfat dry milk prices are steady to lower on a light trading. Demand is sluggish. The market undertone is still weak.
