NONFAT DRY MILK - WEST                                           

Prices for low/medium heat nonfat dry milk (NDM) are mixed on 
the range but lower on the mostly series. Balancing plants are 
operating on expanded schedules in order to clear heavy milk 
volumes. Thus, production is increasing. The market undertone is 
weaker. Spot sales are light. Demand is waning. Some buyers are 
quiet, taking a wait and see attitude, anticipating lower prices 
in the next few weeks. Prices for high heat nonfat dry milk are 
lower. Production is steady to higher. The activity in the spot 
market is sluggish. The market tone is weaker. Interest from 
buyers/end users is decreasing. Most sales are based on 
contracts.
