Manufacturing milk volumes into NDM are higher throughout the region. Drying schedules are very active. At this point, inventories are steady to building. The f.o.b. spot market activity is a little lower. Some buyers are holding off their purchases, expecting a fall in prices. On the other hand, some industry participants anticipate that prices will be steady to higher during Q4. The market tone is mostly steady. Spot prices for high heat nonfat dry milk are higher. Some processors note an increase in spot sales. However, most of the sales are based on contracts. The market tone is firmer. Production is slightly higher. Inventories are mixed. F.O.B.
