Production of low/medium heat NDM is steady to higher. The availability of condensed skim for drying is increasing, as the requests from ice cream manufacturers are lower. In addition, some processors are adding more milk to butter/powder plants expecting higher returns. Currently, some producers indicate comfortable inventories. Spot sales are adequate as the fall baking season is close. Prices for high heat nonfat dry milk are higher. Production is marginally improving mostly based on contracts. Inventories are steady. Sales in the spot market from bakers are slightly higher. The market tone is mixed. F.O.B.
