DRY WHEY - NORTHEAST                                                 
                                                                     
The price of dry whey is a fraction higher at the top of the range in a 
somewhat quiet f.o.b. spot market, as a few buyers acquired dry whey to 
fill immediate needs. Dry whey production is in balance with upticks in 
cheese output, relative to milk supply intake and cheese yield ratio. 
Manufacturers' inventories are sufficient for regular customer needs, as 
baking interest progresses around holiday production. Global demand is 
mostly steady. The dry whey market undertone is steady to weak as the 
marketplace expect prices to weaken further.
