DRY WHEY - NORTHEAST                                                 
                                                                     
Northeastern whey held steady on the bottom half of the price range, but 
shifted upward again on the higher end of the price series this week. 
Northeastern manufacturing plants are working hard producing cheese up to 7 
days a week, keeping whey levels high. Whey production is going strong, 
carrying out contracts on schedule, but there are spot limitations beyond 
arranged agreements. Inventories are tightening. The dry whey demand is good 
and market tone is stable.
