DRY WHEY - NORTHEAST                                                 
                                                                     
Dry whey prices are unchanged in the East. The regions' rate of 
output for dry whey is improving with active cheese processing, 
but whey streams do clear to higher protein manufacturing in some 
instances. Limited supplies in manufacturing channels constrain 
f.o.b. spot purchases, as contract customer needs take preference. 
Consequently, resale markets are actively facilitating traders' 
dry whey requests. Demand is light. The dry whey market undertone 
is steady to firm.
