DRY WHEY - NORTHEAST                                                 
                                                                    
Eastern f.o.b. dry whey spot sales advanced prices at the top of 
the range. This week, dry whey production is steady to higher as 
additional milk supplies cleared to a few cheese manufacturers. 
Demand for dry whey is relatively steady, prompted by customers' 
obligations. Previously sold out suppliers made loads available in 
the spot market this week. Generally, inventories are light to 
adequate. Resale market trading continues to occur at a premium.
