DRY WHEY - NORTHEAST                                                 

Eastern dry whey prices moved slightly higher at the top of the range as 
specific brands of whey sell for just a little more. Industry contacts 
describe domestic whey demand as steady and product is moving well 
through contracts. International demand is good. Inventories are getting 
tighter and supplies for spot sales are not as readily available. Dry 
whey production is stable.
