DRY WHEY - NORTHEAST                                                 
                                                                     
Prices for Northeast dry whey adjusted fractionally lower at the top of 
the range with pricing indices. Active cheese production is adding to 
dry whey output. Manufacturers are watching stock levels, lest prices 
fall with heavy inventories on hand. The market reports some switching 
from whey powder to a higher protein WPC. Spot demand is deliberate as 
buyers delay for better prices. The market tone is steady to lower.
