DRY WHEY - NORTHEAST                                                 
                                                                     
EAST:  Dry whey prices moved lower at the top of the range with downward 
shifting pricing indices.  Production is active, paralleling strong cheese 
output. The bulk of whey is moving through contracts, as spot transactions 
remain limited. Brokers are reporting quiet sales activity. Export interest 
remains sluggish.
