DRY WHEY - WEST  

Prices for dry whey in the West are lower at the top of the range and 
the mostly price series. The market undertone is silent. Supplies are 
long and outweigh current demand. Overall, dry whey production is 
active. Industry contacts report that currently more sweet whey is 
being produced compared to higher whey protein concentrations. Most 
dry whey sales are based on contractual obligations. As the result, 
spot sales are limited. The DMN monthly average of the mostly price 
series for West dry whey during September was $0.3785 compared to
