The bottom of the range held steady. In some areas, whey is offered in the spot market at discounted prices. Production is ongoing and sufficient to meet end-users' needs. Supplies continue to be tight to comfortable. In the international market, U.S. whey is facing price pressures from Europe and Canada. Industry contacts say whey is becoming more difficult to move at higher prices. Domestic demand is relatively stable.
