A few manufactures report getting pushback on prices near the top of the range. Other industry contacts note continued strength in whey market prices. Demand is in fairly good balance with production. Contacts report whey is moving well through existing agreements with both international and domestic customers. Spot load activity is a little light. Production is steady, but lower than previous years. Whey inventories are generally tight and committed.
