DRY WHEY - WEST                                                  

Western whey prices are steady to higher on limited spot market activity. 
The top of the price range moved up while other prices held firm. 
Inventories continue to be tight. Some manufacturers report their dry whey 
stocks are highly committed through the end of the year. Dry whey 
production is relatively stable. Domestic and export demand appears steady 
with dry whey moving easily through contracted agreements.
