DRY WHEY - WEST                                                  

Western whey prices moved higher. Industry contacts report inventories 
with many manufacturers are tight. In some cases, dry whey stocks are 
fully committed. Demand is steady. Some contacts suggest the market is 
more subdued than what it was a few weeks ago. Secondary markets remain 
active. Some manufacturers are opting to produce higher whey 
concentrations instead of dry whey.
