DRY WHEY - WEST                                                  

Western whey prices held steady on limited spot market activity. Many 
manufacturers have been able to reduce their inventories to more 
comfortable levels. Most buyers and sellers seem willing to take a wait 
and see position until after the holidays. Dry whey production remains 
steady.
