DRY WHEY - WEST

The Western whey mostly price moved lower this week. The market remains 
soft. Production is steady. Inventories are long and demand has been 
limited. Industry contacts suggest prices may need to be lower to compete 
in world markets. Some brokers are also finding whey available in other 
regions at more favorable prices and bringing it to the West to fill 
current obligations.
