DRY WHEY - WEST                                                  

The Western whey price range moved lower this week. Market activity 
remains slow, and buyers seem in no hurry to make transactions.  However, 
a few spot sales occurred this week. There were also a few off spec or 
discounted loads moved to clear some inventory.  Dry whey production is 
still active due to heavy cheese production and inventories of dry whey 
remain long.
