Central dry whey spot market activity has slowed, as multiple end users and buyers report being stocked, and in some cases, end users are stocked for multiple months. Dry whey production is steady, as milk flowing into Midwestern cheese vats, although lower than previous flush levels, is still somewhat available. Animal feed whey prices decreased on both ends of the price range. Some brand specific purchases of animal feed whey took place, creating a relatively large price range.
