Some manufacturers are selling at current pricing levels because they do not want to hold stocks in a downward trending market. Some manufacturers note that buyers are purchasing for future needs due to higher futures pricing levels. Export sales have started to increase. Some buyers note buying product from other regions in order to achieve desired pricing levels. Whey production continues to be strong as cheese manufacturers are reporting solid production rates.
