MD_DA350 DA MD DA350 Dry Buttermilk (Central and East) MADISON, WI. April 30, 2015 (REPORT 17) DRY BUTTERMILK - CENTRAL AND EAST CENTRAL: Dry buttermilk prices are steady in a weak market. Sales for dry buttermilk are holding steady on contracts with little spot sales. Buyer interest for condensed buttermilk is increasing. The discount offered for condensed has decreased. EAST: Prices for Eastern dry buttermilk are steady. Production is seasonally active. Inventories are variable. Some plants are able to process the flow of condensed buttermilk coming off the butter churns without limits, while others note NDM utilizing most of the available dryer time.
