Demand for dry buttermilk is steady to increasing as ice cream production has increased. Buyers are still experiencing price advantages purchasing condensed buttermilk. Stocks are low as demand is increasing. EAST: Dry buttermilk prices are higher with adjustments based on spot sales and indices. Production levels are mixed in areas of the region, as the effect of churning holiday butter on dry buttermilk output tapers at some manufacturing plants. Sales are slow. Inventories continue to build, in an otherwise quiet market. The market undertone is unsettled. F.O.B.
