DRY BUTTERMILK - WEST                                       
                                                            
F.O.B spot prices for western dry buttermilk are mixed on the 
range, but shifted slightly down on the mostly series. This 
week, the trading activity is light to moderate. In general, the 
market undertone is stable. Production is active, parallel with 
the regional butter production. Condensed buttermilk supplies 
are becoming more available for drying as ice cream makers are 
pulling less quantities due to seasonality. Dry buttermilk 
demand from the bakery sector is steadily improving as the fall 
baking season approaches. Dry buttermilk inventories are mixed 
throughout the western region.
