DRY BUTTERMILK - WEST                                       
                                                            
Dry buttermilk prices are steady. Demands from bakers and ice 
cream manufacturers are moderate. Spot sales have been slow 
throughout the week. However, some industry participants 
anticipate an increase in sales, in the short term, as the 
spring holiday baking season approaches. Production is active as 
heavy cream volumes continue to clear into western churns. 
Inventories are steady to building.
