DRY BUTTERMILK - WEST                                       

Dry buttermilk prices are mostly steady. Production is slightly 
higher as churning is active in the West. Some processors are 
expecting to increase production over the Labor Day Holiday 
weekend. Inventories are mostly unchanged. At this point, some 
manufacturers are noticing moderate sales in the spot market. 
The market undertone is steady.
