The supply is fair but is higher than some end user needs. Sales in the f.o.b. spot market are steady. Some traders continue reselling the product at low prices, trying to clear up inventories. The June 2015 Dairy Market News monthly average for the West dry buttermilk mostly series is $0.8175 compared to $1.8198 a year ago. DAIRY PRODUCTS: According to NASS, U.S. production of dry buttermilk during May 2015 totaled 8.9 million pounds, 9.2% lower than a year ago but 5.4% higher than the previous month. F.O.B.
