SKIM MILK POWDER (SMP):                                          
                                                                 
This week, Oceania skim milk prices are lower at the top of the 
range but steady at the bottom. Sources suggest pressure from 
stockpiles is instrumental in driving prices. In general, skim 
milk powder remains something of an undesirable product for now, 
as demand is sluggish. Export interest is slow to fair.

      Australia exports of SMP year to date January-March 2017 
declined 22.4% from the same period one year earlier, according 
to Eucolait. Export volumes and primary destinations are shown 
in the following table:

      At GDT Event 188 on May 16, the SMP all contracts price
