SKIM MILK POWDER (SMP): Skim milk powder prices in Oceania are 
slightly higher at the bottom of the price range to steady on the 
top. Manufacturers and customers in the region are watching the 
impact of plans in the EU to sell intervention stocks into the 
market. Volumes of SMP exports from Australia July-September this 
year declined 31.9% from the same period last year according to Dairy 
Australia. The value of SMP exports this year is 43.1% below last 
year. New Zealand SMP export volumes January-September this year are 
14.7% above the same period last year according to Eucolait. The main 
destinations and percent of the total are: China, 23.0%; Malaysia, 
9.9%; and Philippines, 9.1%. At the November 15 GDT event #176, SMP 
for all regions and contracting periods averaged $2,562/MT, +9.8%.
