SKIM MILK POWDER (SMP):                                          

Prices for SMP are steady. Recent pricing increases are causing some 
buyers to be reluctant to commit to large purchases. Some sellers are 
reporting an increase in export demand. Production is uneven as some 
manufacturers are producing only enough to fulfill current contract 
needs. At the October 20 GDT event 150, SMP for all regions and 
contracting periods averaged $2,178 per MT, -4.5%. For trading in 
contract period 2, December, prices averaged $2,152, -4.2%.
