SKIM MILK POWDER (SMP):    

Prices for SMP moved lower on both ends of the range this reporting 
period. Current demand is light. Buyers show interest in booking 
contracts into 2016 at current prices. Manufacturers are reluctant to 
commit too much of production for too long, which is tending to keep 
negotiations in process. Oceania SMP exports through May are above year 
ago levels. Exports of SMP to China have been fairly stable year to date. 
At the July 15 GDT event 144, SMP for all regions and contracting periods 
averaged $1,702 per MT, -10.1%. For trading in contract period 3, 
October, prices averaged $1,595 for NZ sourced medium heat product.
