WHOLE MILK POWDER (WMP):     

Whole milk powder prices in Western Europe weakened slightly at the 
top and bottom of the price range. Global competition weighs on 
markets in the EU. Customers have multiple sources available with 
comfortable inventories. This often leaves price negotiations leaning 
toward the customer side. Export sales have slowed. Eurostat reports 
that 2015 WMP production in the EU-28 was 3.5% lower than during 2014 but 
exports were 0.1% higher. The top three destinations for EU manufactured 
WMP during 2015, and the percentage change in volumes exported, were: 
Oman, +19%; Algeria, -48%; and Nigeria, -23%.
