SKIM MILK POWDER (SMP):   

Skim milk powder prices in Western Europe firmed at each end of the 
price range, more at the top, with limited transactions moving that 
price. Spot market activity is limited, with many buyers more focused 
on longer term supply arrangements. Production is seasonally 
declining. There were no intervention transactions during the past 
week. EU SMP powder exports January-July 2016 decreased 16.7% from 
the same period of 2015 according to Eucolait. The top three export 
destinations and percentage of total exports are: Algeria, 14.8%; 
China, 8.3%; and Egypt, 7.9%.
