Drying schedules for skim milk powder have expanded following the seasonal increase in milk production. The weaker Euro, compared to the U.S. dollar, has sparked increased buyer interest. Trading activity in the first full week of the New Year has been light, but is expected to increase in the near future. Supplies have been increasing, but are not seen as burdensome. PSA stock levels through the third week of December amounted to 16.4 MT. Exports of SMP for January to October 2014, as reported by GTIS, showed an increase of 56%, compared to the same period last year. October exports increased 7% over the previous month.
