SWEET WHEY POWDER:                                               
                                                                 

Sweet whey powder prices in Western Europe increased at each end of 
the price range. Production has been dropping in Germany and France. 
EU whey powder exports January-July 2016 increased 3.7% from the same 
period of 2015 according to Eucolait. The top three export 
destinations and percentage of total exports are: China, 29.1%; 
Indonesia, 15.1%; and Malaysia, 10.1%. Whey powder imports to the EU 
this year through July decreased 4.1% from the same period of 2015. 
The top three import origins and percentage of total imports are: 
Switzerland, 90.0%; Norway, 6.0%; and United States, 3.0%.
